Spain Celebrates World Cup
Celebrations went wild in Madrid on Sunday night as Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 in extra time to win the 2026 World Cup – and a second title.
Footage shows fans cheering, singing and chanting as their nation claimed victory – and even performing the now-famous Norwegian ‘viking row’ celebration.
Torres Scores Historic Goal
Ferran Torres scored the decisive, stoppage-time goal in the 106th minute at New York New Jersey Stadium, shortly after Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernandez was sent off for a second yellow card.
Spain Ends Argentina Run
The victory gave Spain their second World Cup title and their first since 2010, while denying defending champions Argentina a second consecutive crown.
