After a busy first half of the year, a Singapore renovation company decided to surprise its employees with a trip to Universal Studios Singapore (USS).
The idea came from a simple question: “Have you ever been to USS?”
Some team members said no, so the company brought them there for a day of fun and appreciation.

The outing quickly became one of the team’s favourite memories, with the boss saying that creating someone’s first experience could be more meaningful than the rides themselves.
Recognising the Work Behind Beautiful Homes
The company owner shared that customers often see the finished homes and beautiful carpentry work, but they rarely see the long hours behind each project.

He said the first half of the year was especially busy, with the team pushing through project after project.
The trip to the USS was supposed to be a drop-in to say thank you for the effort and dedication of employees.
The Thinking Behind the Surprise
The owner also added that it was not necessary for the employees to always sacrifice their personal time while working in a business.
He said that he tries not to work on Sundays, as the crew needs to rest, spend time with their families or recharge.

The gesture was well received online, with many viewers lauding the company for its gestures to its employees.

@bideascreationspteltd We asked our employees a random question: “Have you ever been to USS?” A few of them said no. So we brought them there. Safe to say, this became one of our favourite team outings ever. 🥹 Because sometimes, making someone’s first memory is even more special than the ride itself. #carpentrysingapore #interiordesignsg #renovationsg #singaporehome
