A Startling Incident

People riding a Kelana Jaya train heard a sharp bang Monday night that sounded like an explosion. This noise worried those inside the car.

Rapid KL stopped the train right away for passenger safety. This caused small delays and caught notice once clips of the moment went up on social media. Rapid KL stated that nobody got hurt in this mess.

Rapid KL Responds

The firm stated that the issue occurred near 7.18pm. The vehicle, train number 57, was heading toward Putra Heights when the fault popped up.

Workers stopped the train and pulled it off the tracks immediately to keep things secure. They grabbed other trains to reach their spots. Staff handled the platform crowd to help riders exit smoothly.

Findings from the Track

Repair crews looked at the train and the tracks to find why it happened. They walked the line between the Universiti and Taman Jaya spots and saw that the gear was running fine.

The search found a loose bit of metal wire resting on the path. This wire touched the power lines, popped, and melted, making the bang that folks heard. Officials noted that the tracks and the train stayed in solid, safe shape for public use.

Ongoing Investigations

Rapid KL said investigations into the incident are ongoing and additional inspections were carried out after operating hours as a further safety measure. The operator added that preventive measures will be taken to help avoid similar incidents in the future.

Passengers are encouraged to check the MyRapid PULSE app or Rapid KL’s official social media pages for the latest service updates. Staying updated on the current state of the rail line remains the best way for every traveler to plan their daily routes around the city effectively.
