Ryan Gosling can finally breathe a sigh of relief, after it was revealed that Lionsgate has released a new revamped poster celebrating the 10th anniversary of the award-winning, “La La Land”.
The studio recently updated the poster, which was taken from a scene of Gosling and co-star Emma Stone’s characters singing ‘A Lovely Night’ and dancing under the stars. What’s interesting is that the new poster has now fixed what Gosling previously said had ‘haunted’ him – the fact that his hand was tilted while Stone’s hand was extended up.

That particular issue was revealed by the actor in an interview in 2024, when he said, “There’s a moment that haunts me where we’re dancing, Emma and I, and I didn’t know this would become the poster for the movie, but I thought we were supposed to have our hands up and I thought it’d be cool to put my hand [flat].”
“Even though everyone told me it wasn’t cool, I was sure it was cooler,” he continued. “Now when I look at it, and I have to see it all the time, you know what would’ve been cooler… [the correct pose]. It just killed the energy that way. I call it La La hand.”
The movie, which won six Academy Awards in 2016, will be heading back to theatres in the US beginning August.
