Huge Anime Fan Turns Singapore Rooftop Carpark Into A Private Outdoor Cinema

Residents living near a multi-storey carpark in Singapore recently witnessed a magical sight. Instead of the usual rows of parked cars and concrete walls, one of the upper decks was transformed into a glowing outdoor cinema.

A dedicated anime fan decided to set up a personal projector to watch their favorite shows under the night sky, creating a scene that looked like it belonged in a movie.

A Creative Use of Space

The footage, which has since circulated online, shows a bright, clear image projected onto a large white wall of the carpark building. From a distance, the colorful animation stands out against the dark evening.

The setup appears simple yet effective, using the flat architectural surfaces of the HDB estate as a massive screen. While most people watch shows on small phone screens or televisions at home, this individual chose a much larger canvas.

The video captures scenes from popular series, including the hit show Mashle: Magic and Muscles. The bright colors of the animation lit up the surrounding area, catching the attention of neighbors in nearby blocks.

Many were impressed by how the fan managed to find such a quiet and perfect spot to enjoy their hobby away from the confines of an apartment.

Finding Peace in the City

Multi-storey carparks in Singapore are often used for more than just vehicles. They are known spots for quiet evening walks, exercise, or even photography.

However, using a high-quality projector to create a private theater is a unique twist. This “main character” energy has sparked interest in how urban spaces can be used creatively for relaxation.

The projector setup allowed the fan to enjoy the cool night breeze while catching up on the latest episodes. The quiet atmosphere of the rooftop provided a peaceful environment, far away from the noise of the main roads. It turned a regular concrete structure into a place of wonder for anyone looking out from their window.

The Magic of Outdoor Cinema

This private screening serves as a reminder of how much people enjoy sharing their passions in public spaces. Even though the viewer was likely alone or with a small group, the scale of the projection made the experience feel grand.

It added a touch of color and excitement to the neighborhood, proving that with a little imagination, any corner of the city can become a special place.
