Kartik Aaryan has been admitted to hospital following an injury on the set of his new movie.
A source close to production confirmed the news, saying, saying, “Kartik has now been admitted to Fortis Raheja Hospital and is under medical care. The doctors will perform his knee surgery in a day, after which he will have to rest for a few days.”
“He should then be able to resume his work commitments,” the source added.
The actor suffered a severe knee injury while shooting intense action sequences for his new film, directed by Kabir Khan.
He is expected to take a few days off to recover before resuming filming.
The untitled film is the second collaboration with Khan following “Chandu Champion,” the movie that won him his first National Film Award for Best Actor.
