Another day, another South Indian actor injured on set as it has been reported that Arun Vijay is now taking a short break from ‘Irulan’.”
Sharing the news on Instagram Story, the actor posted, “It’s really disheartening when you break your routine with injuries. Tore my hamstring muscle during filming for ‘Irulan’. Doing my rehab at the moment. All in the game!”
However, he assured that he will get back stronger soon.

The actor has been preparing extensively for the movie, and has been sharing several gym photos and videos since the movie’s announcement.
In a previous interview, the actor said that the film requires him to have two different looks – a period appearance and a present-day look.
He added that he needed to have a toned body for the younger present-day version of the character.
The upcoming movie is helmed by Muthaiya and is inspired by a real-life incident.
