Located along Jalan Sultan, Aladdin Lanzhou Beef Noodle serves warm, hearty bowls of beef noodles that have caught the attention of diners.
The TikToker shows what a weekend lunch at the restaurant looks like, with families and multiple generations sitting together and sharing plates of noodles, ribs and skewers. Outside, a giant panda mascot catches attention, with kids stopping by for photos alongside its oversized bowl of beef noodles and BBQ skewers.
Inside, the open-concept kitchen gives diners a look at how the noodles are made, with cooks kneading and stretching fresh dough into long, springy noodles before dropping them into boiling water and serving them piping hot.
The restaurant is also Halal-certified in Singapore, making it an option for diners looking for Halal-certified Northwestern Chinese cuisine.
The Noodles Are The Main Character
According to the creator, the star of the menu is the Lanzhou-style beef noodles.
One standout is the Spicy Lamb Rib Noodles, which the creator describes as a deep bowl of chewy hand-pulled noodles, tender lamb ribs, white radish and fresh coriander. The rich bone broth is topped with red chilli oil, adding a fragrant spicy kick to the dish.
The creator says the chilli oil adds plenty of flavour without overpowering the broth, allowing its deep, savoury taste to come through with every slurp.
Not a spice person? No worries
The creator also highlights milder options for families with younger kids, including the Golden Chicken Soup noodles and Tomato Beef Brisket noodles. According to the creator, diners can request the noodles without chilli, making them a more kid-friendly option.
Overall, the creator says there are options for both spice lovers and those who prefer milder flavours.
And Then Come The Skewers
According to the creator, the noodles aren’t the only thing worth ordering. The restaurant also has generous sharing plates, including spicy desert lamb ribs. The crispy ribs come piled high on a platter and dusted with cumin, sesame seeds and dried chilli flakes, giving them that smoky, savoury Northern Chinese street-food kick.
The creator also shows off the Xinjiang barbecue beef skewers, grilled until the edges are nicely charred and coated in a smoky spice blend. For those going all out on the sharing, there’s also stir-fried beef with green peppers and bamboo shoots. Basically, come hungry because this is very much a share-everything kind of meal.
A Spot Made For Sharing
According to the creator, it’s not just about the food either. The whole place has a proper family-dining vibe. Long booth tables make it easy for bigger groups to sit together, while noodles, skewers and side dishes get passed around the table. There are also tall pitchers of iced tea to keep everyone refreshed between bites. Basically, it’s very much a “come hungry and share everything” kind of spot.
According to the creator, the restaurant also draws Malay-Chinese and interfaith families looking to enjoy Northwestern Chinese flavours in a Halal-certified setting. By the end of the meal, the tables are stacked with empty bowls and shared plates, with a group photo basically being the final step.
