A familiar sight around Clementi has returned, with the rider’s decorated bicycle attracting attention once again ahead of National Day.
Photos shared online show the bike covered in Singapore flags, red-and-white tinsel, and a collection of plush toys, including Pokémon characters and Hello Kitty, giving the everyday delivery ride a festive upgrade.

According to those familiar with the rider, the decorations are refreshed regularly to match different festive occasions.
One resident said they frequently spot the rider around Clementi, adding that the bike becomes even more eye-catching at night when it lights up with LED decorations.

A Familiar Sight Around Clementi
Many commenters recognised the rider immediately, with one joking, “Delivering food: $20. Delivering patriotism: priceless.”

Another dubbed him the “Clementi Thousand Lumens Rider,” saying he has been riding around the neighborhood for about five years and has appeared on Reddit multiple times. Others joked that he should be part of Singapore’s National Day Mobile Column, while one commenter called him the “final boss of Grab delivery.”
Decorations Change Throughout the Year
The rider’s decorated bicycle is not new. Earlier sightings showed the same colorful setup when he was delivering for Foodpanda, with a custom “carriage” mounted behind his bicycle to carry an assortment of plush toys.
The collection has included characters from Pokémon, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, and Hello Kitty. Online posts dating back to late 2020 also noted that the decorations are updated throughout the year to reflect different festivals and celebrations.
