Cat Accidentally Starts Home Renovation Project
One cat has managed to create an impressive amount of damage with a pair of tiny paws after knocking over a can of white paint inside its home.
The video shows a large puddle of spilled paint on the floor next to a red lid. That was already bad enough.

But things got worse almost immediately.
Instead of staying away from the mess, the cat stepped right into the paint and ran off, leaving a trail of white paw prints behind it.
Evidence Left At Every Crime Scene
The footprints can be seen all over the house.
They start near the paint spill before continuing across the floor tiles and into other rooms. At one point, the tracks pass a blue cloth lying on the floor, which would have been useful if the cat had any interest in cleaning up after itself.
It did not.

The tiny suspect continued its journey, leaving fresh prints wherever it went. By the time the owner found out what had happened, the damage was already done.
Every step seemed to create another problem.
Three Humans Versus One Cat
Once the family realised the cat was covered in paint, an emergency cleaning operation began.
The video shows several people trying to wash the paint out of the cat’s fur. It quickly became clear that the cat had no intention of cooperating.

One person handled the water while the others tried to keep hold of the wriggling escape artist. Despite being badly outnumbered, the cat still looked determined to win.
Unfortunately for it, bath time was unavoidable.
The Cat Walks Free
The good news is that the paint was eventually removed and the cat appeared completely fine afterwards.
The bad news is that the house was still covered in white paw prints.

While the cat escaped with nothing more than an unwanted bath, the owner was left staring at a floor that now looked like a crime scene designed by a very small and very energetic animal.
The cat has since returned to its normal life.
The owner, meanwhile, probably spent the rest of the day scrubbing footprints off the floor and wondering why the paint had to fall over in the first place.
