The “Game of Thrones” movie has now a new working title, “Game of Thrones: Aegon’s Conquest”.

The new title was revealed during Warner Bros’ CinemaCon presentation in Las Vegas, and has been included in the studio’s “2027 and beyond” line-up.
While the plot has not been unveiled, the title seems to hint that it will be focusing on the story of Aegon I, the Targaryen conqueror whose arrival at the tallest hill in Westeros has given it the name of King’s Landing.

The character is also known as the first Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and who created the Iron Throne. The story of Aegon I is revealed in George RR Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire” and “Fire and Blood”.
It was revealed that the film will be penned by Beau Willimon, the writer of “Andor” and showrunner of “House of Cards”.
