Singapore creators Rachell Tan and her partner Sean, who document their life in Malaysia, decided to visit Putrajaya after the destination kept getting recommended by their viewers.
The couple were immediately surprised by how different Putrajaya looked from Kuala Lumpur.

“This is just the roadside, not even the park yet,” Rachell said as they drove past colourful flowers, decorative lamp posts and rows of lush greenery. She added that the city gave off “garden-city vibes” before they had even reached their first stop.

Straight Out of a Movie
Their first stop was a European-style park filled with pine trees, scenic walking trails and Instagram-worthy photo spots.
“It feels like Europe,” the couple said, while comparing the misty forest to scenes from Twilight. As butterflies flew around them, Rachell joked that she felt like a “Disney princess”.
They also spotted several couples taking wedding photos, with Sean saying, “I can see why people come here.”
Four Seasons in One Day
The trip wasn’t all picture-perfect. The couple climbed steep hills under the hot sun and laughed over a bagel that had turned into a warm, squished mess after spending hours in Sean’s pocket.
The weather then changed without warning.
“We just experienced four seasons in Europe,” they joked after heavy rain suddenly poured down before the sunshine returned.
Viewers Say It’s Even Better in Person
The vlog’s comment section was filled with viewers sharing their own experiences in Putrajaya.
One viewer said the city’s beautiful parks are no accident. According to the comment, Putrajaya has many master gardeners and even runs gardening courses, which helps explain why the landscaping looks so polished.

Another viewer recognised the park straight away, saying wedding photos were taken there years ago. The same viewer added that the place looks even more stunning today.

A business traveller also shared a positive experience in the comments. Impressive architecture, peaceful surroundings and friendly locals stood out during the visit. Feeling safe while getting around made the trip even more enjoyable.
Before Calling It a Day
The day ended with one more unexpected stop. A friendly cow quickly earned the nickname “Moomoo” before a walk through a mist-filled area added another highlight to the visit.
The couple then made the way to the Putrajaya Water Taxi and shared that more places around the city will be featured in the next two parts of the vlog series.
