Pezeshkian Signs Memorandum
Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian was seen signing the memorandum of understanding with US to end the conflict on Wednesday – after Donald Trump sensationally signed the agreement during a dinner in Versailles on Wednesday night, two days ahead of the expected official signing in Geneva.

Deal Terms Outlined
The deal was briefed out by US officials earlier on Wednesday; it reportedly includes an end to ‘all fighting’ – including in Lebanon – the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, the removal of the US naval blockade, an end to all sanctions, no nuclear weapons for Iran, a $300bn ‘development fund’ for the country.

The deal was presented as a framework intended to bring an end to the conflict and establish conditions for future cooperation.
