“The Odyssey” has now officially become Christopher Nolan’s highest-grossing film to-date.
The movie has now bested the record previously held by “The Dark Knight Rises,” which made USD 1.085 billion at the global box office. In its fourth weekend, the epic film has collected USD 461.1 million in North America, and amassed a global cume of USD 1.104 billion.
A part of the total also came from global Imax box office, where the movie pulled USD 289.3 million, becoming the highest-grossing Imax release of all time.

It is also now one of the five movies that has reached the billion-dollar mark this year, following “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie,” “Michael,” “Toy Story 5” and “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”.
In total, Nolan has now surpassed USD 7 billion at the global box office for all of his films, which included “Oppenheimer” (USD 975.8 million) and “The Dark Knight,” which made USD 1.005 billion.
