Mother Shields Her Kids As Train Passes Dangerously Close At Bihar Railway Station
Facebook

A mother protected her children from a thundering train which was too close to them at Shahpur Patoree railway station in Bihar, India. The video of the incident, which has been shared on social media, depicts a woman lying over the children in a tight squeeze next to the platform before the train.

Mother Protects Children as Train Approaches

The youngsters seemed to be pushed against a wall, as they didn’t have much space between them and the train. The mother stood over the children and covered them with her body and held them against the wall as the train approached the place.

The train then zoomed right by the group. The side parts seemed to collide with or brush against the mother a number of times as the train passed by. Even though it looked like it was going to have a huge effect and the situation was very scary, she stayed in place and kept on guarding the kids until the train had left the area.

There were others around who seemed to be helping to hold the woman and children against the wall. Some people were standing on the platform and watching the train go by very close by. The video shows the intense moments when they all waited for the last car to pass the family.

The family is taken care of after the train has left.

When the train passed, the mother was able to get up and her children as well. On the platform, people crowded around them and enquired about the family and gave them help.

It is not clear what brought the woman and children into such proximity to the roaring train in the information available. It is also not known if they were in a restricted zone, in an unexpected situation or forced into the narrow space for other reasons.

The incident has since garnered a lot of attention on social media sites, and the spectators have been keen to watch how the mother reacted when the train approached her. Her move to get in front of the train and her kids caught in the crossfire was commended by many people on social media who said that she was protecting her kids through instinct.

The video got widespread online reactions and comments.

The video has been uploaded on social media platforms with tags related to Bihar, Shashur Patoree, train safety and the accident. It has been making headlines again due to its fast speed and the danger it poses to those who stand near the railway tracks or stand on moving trains.

The video does not record information about what happened before it started recording, and the few shots available are largely of the moments just before and after the train passes. In the provided account, it was not described how the mother and children were after the incident.

The family stood very still as the train passed by them for several seconds. The danger passed with the last carriage, and the mother and children rose to their feet and were surrounded by people from the platform. The dramatic images have sparked responses online, notably the mother’s spontaneous attempt to shield her children from the incident.
