A train carrying 25 passengers came off the tracks in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday. The incident happened near the busy Chan Sow Lin station during the afternoon. Many people were traveling home from work when the train suddenly stopped. Thankfully, emergency workers arrived quickly at the scene to help everyone get out safely.

The rail operator, Rapid KL, quickly shared an official statement about the accident. They confirmed that the train derailed while it was moving across a railway switch. This is a special part of the track that helps trains change lines. Pictures and videos online showed the train sitting crookedly on the gravel tracks while passengers walked away.
Quick Evacuation Saves Everyone
Railway workers and security staff acted fast to protect the passengers on board. They opened the doors and guided all 25 people along the side of the tracks to safety. Because of their quick actions, nobody was hurt during the scary situation. Passengers looked calm but shocked as they walked toward the nearest station platform.

The derailment caused big problems for the rest of the train network. Rapid KL had to stop normal services along the popular Ampang-Sri Petaling Line. This line is very important for thousands of people who travel through the city every day. Many stations became very crowded as passengers waited for updates.
Investigations and Repairs Begin
Technical teams from Rapid KL arrived at the station with heavy tools to fix the problem. They need to lift the heavy train back onto the tracks and check for any damage. Engineers are also examining the railway switch to find out why the train came off. The company promises to finish the repairs as fast as possible.
Meanwhile, alternative transport options were arranged for the stranded commuters. Extra buses were sent to the affected stations to help people finish their journeys. Rapid KL advised passengers to check their social media pages for live travel updates. The company apologised for the major inconvenience caused to everyone’s daily travel plans.
