At least eight dead, Dozens injured as train collided with a bus in Bangkok

Bus Bursts Into Flames After Impact

At least eight people have been killed and dozens were injured as the freight train collided with the stationary bus near central Bangkok’s Makkasan station on Saturday afternoon.

Footage shows responders, police officers working at site near a burnt out bus standing in cordoned-off area. Emergency services vehicles standing parked and reporters listening to an official giving press briefing could also be seen.

Authorities Examine Cause Of Incident

According to reports, the bus burst into flames as the train rammed into it, damaging several other vehicles as it kept moving.
