A fun video filmed inside a public clinic in Johor, Malaysia, has gotten quite a bit of attention on the web for its depiction of healthcare workers training the patients in a rudimentary team exercise. The activity was conducted in the waiting room during the waiting time for patients for their appointments and tests. The brief workout enhanced the vibrancy of the workout environment and ensured that patients remained active while in the clinic.

The video was posted by a girl who came to Klinik Kesihatan Ulu Tiram together with her mother for a blood test. Her mother’s fast was preceded by her feeling tired, as she revealed in her post. The dynamics, however, shifted as the staff members of the clinic invited all the people in the waiting room to participate in a sitting exercise class together.
Staff Encourage Simple Movements
The recording features a group of patients engaged in a session with a female staff member who is actively counting and repeating the exercises with hand movements. Patients are sitting in chairs and watching her as they stretch their arms and move their shoulders in accordance with her instructions. Some patients smile, others sit still and follow the beat as it goes.

A lot of the people at the event seem to be elderly patients. They walk at a comfortable speed through the exercise session regardless of their age. Several people also wear face masks while taking part in the activity. Gentle and appropriate to various physical states and ages.
Waiting Area Becomes More Active
The clinic waiting room typically has a relaxed and bustling vibe before the exercise session and ends with a more relaxed vibe afterward. Patients move their bodies instead of sitting and waiting a long time for treatment. The activity also contributes to a more welcoming and less stressful atmosphere for visitors.

During the session, healthcare workers at the clinic keep on assisting the patients by counting aloud and giving basic instructions to them. The group activity only takes a short amount of time, but it does add energy to the room and keeps the patients engaged while they wait their turn.
Video Gains Online Attention
The video has since gone viral and spread across social media since its release online. A few people are eager to see the unique but friendly manner with which the clinic staff deals with the patients during waiting periods. The video clip shows a different aspect of healthcare services in the very busy public clinic in Johor.
More and more people are finding the vibrant exercise session, bringing the short recording to their attention. A few minutes of guided movement transformed a routine appointment for many of the patients at the clinic into a more dynamic and memorable experience.
