The Scary Incident
A normal Monday night went completely wrong at a parking area in Taman Impian Emas. Right around 6 p.m., three guys cornered a 26-year-old dude and literally shoved him into a grey car. Quite a few bystanders saw everything unfold.
But honestly, everyone there was just too paralyzed to jump in and help. The poor guy had literally just finished pulling cash out from an ATM before these men started trailing him. This entire ordeal has left nearby residents deeply creeped out and seriously concerned about their safety.
What Happened Next
Locals rushed to share the news online because they wanted to ensure he was actually alright. Turns out, the suspects immediately snatched his cash and phone the moment they forced him into the seat. They drove him roughly 20 kilometers away from the scene.
Then, they just dumped him on the side of the road in Taman Molek. Luckily, a super kind stranger spotted him stranded on the curb and offered to drive him straight back home.
Official Police Investigation
Cops in Johor Bahru North confirmed they have officially received a report about this wild robbery. Investigators are actively looking into the case and trying to track down the three suspects.
They are keeping most of their findings quiet right now so they can do their job properly and nab the guys. But they are definitely working around the clock to find them so they can face the music for what they pulled.
Keeping Ourselves Safe
This whole scary mess is a massive wake-up call to keep our eyes wide open near ATMs. We really need to watch each other’s backs and flag any sketchy activity to the police immediately.
If you ever witness a crime, try to snap a quick photo of the license plate from a safe distance. At the end of the day, looking out for one another is our best defense. Stay alert and always keep yourself safe out there.
