Shocking Collision On Sharp Bend
A wild traffic accident happened in Lumajang, Indonesia, when two large trucks crashed straight into each other on a winding road.
A yellow Mitsubishi truck was traveling from Malang when the driver completely lost control of the steering wheel. The heavy vehicle suddenly crossed over the middle line and swerved right into oncoming traffic.

At that exact moment, a green and yellow truck was coming down the road from the opposite direction, making a messy crash absolutely impossible to avoid.
Thrown Straight Into A Ditch
The extreme force of the sudden crash broke open the door of the yellow truck, sending the driver flying out of the cabin.
When witnesses rushed over to help, they found the cabin completely empty and had to frantically look around the wreckage and deep weeds to find him. They finally spotted him down inside a deep roadside ditch.
Police reports show that he had skipped his seatbelt during the trip, which is why he was thrown so easily. Miraculously, he survived the scary fall with only minor head injuries and went to the local public hospital, while the other driver walked away completely uninjured.

No Driving Licenses Found
When traffic police got to the scene, they found out something pretty wild about the two men.
Neither of them actually had a driving license to be behind the wheel of these big trucks on public roads. Both vehicles ended up with heavy body damage, but the total repair costs were surprisingly low at only about one million rupiah.

Luckily, nobody died in the accident, and no one else got badly hurt either.
Facing Jail Or Peace Deal
Under Indonesian traffic law, both drivers now face serious legal trouble for driving completely illegally. They could go to prison for up to four months or pay a large cash fine.
The driver who caused the crash faces extra punishment because he skipped his seatbelt. Ho

wever, the local police noted that the case might end up solved through restorative justice.
This means both sides can sign a peace agreement to settle the repair costs outside of court.
