Python Swims Through Floods
A large python was spotted swimming through floodwaters in a residential neighbourhood in Olongapo City in the Philippines, starthttps://wakeup.sg/zambales-floods-bury-homes/ling residents as heavy rains inundated parts of the city.

Footage captured on August 29 shows the snake moving through deep, murky water between homes in Barangay Sta Rita. Residents can be heard shouting as the python swims along the flooded street.
Heavy Rain Causes Flooding
The flooding followed sustained rainfall linked to the southwest monsoon, with high tide also contributing to rising water levels in parts of Olongapo.

The city government later declared a state of calamity on September 1 after weeks of heavy rain caused widespread flooding and landslides, damaging property and forcing residents from their homes.
