US Strikes Continue

The US military says it has launched a 13th consecutive night of strikes on ‘Iranian military targets.’

Footage released by US Central Command on Friday shows strikes on what it says were Iranian military command centres, drone storage facilities, communication networks, coastal surveillance sites and maritime capabilities.

“This is the 13th consecutive night of strikes aimed to hold Iran accountable and diminish threats from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to commercial shipping,” CENTCOM posted on X.

The exact time and location of the footage could not be independently verified.

Trump Considers Attack

US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that he was close to deciding whether to launch what he called a ‘massive attack’ on Iran, larger than any strike carried out during the months-long conflict with Tehran.

His remarks followed Houthi attacks on Saudi tankers in the Red Sea and a fresh surge in oil prices above $100 a barrel.

“I am considering a massive attack. Bigger than ever before. I am close to making a decision. We are all set for it,” he said.

Conflict Escalates Again

The strikes follow the collapse of a Pakistan-brokered interim agreement signed in June, which was intended to halt the war that began on February 28.

The renewed fighting has seen Washington launch repeated strikes on Iranian targets, while Tehran has attacked US assets across the region.
