A Chill Drive That Caught Everyone’s Eye
In a video that has been making the rounds on TikTok, a young man in Johor Bahru was seen driving his car in a way no one expected: with a camping chair as the driver’s seat.
Posted by TikTok user @/Abeell last month, the clip showed the man cruising comfortably down the road while sitting in a foldable chair more commonly found at campsites or beach outings.
To fully capture the experience, he recorded his journey, giving viewers a clear look at his setup behind the wheel.
A Car Interior That Looks Barely There
What made the video even more eye-catching was the condition of the car’s interior.
The flooring was gone, along with several other standard parts, leaving behind an almost empty interior.
Despite the bare interior, the man looked completely at ease, making the whole thing feel less like a commute and more like a casual afternoon drive, camping chair and all.
Netizens Were in Stitches
Of course, TikTok users had a field day with the video.
One user summed up the situation perfectly, saying, “The definition of ‘as long as it moves.’”
Another joked about how impractical the setup would be if the car had a manual transmission, saying, “Imagine if it’s a manual car, you’d cry.”
It was a sentiment many could relate to. After all, shifting gears from a foldable chair probably isn’t in anyone’s driving school syllabus.
“Probably Being Towed…”
Some viewers were not convinced by what they saw.
A few comments speculated that the car might actually be on a tow truck, with one person saying it “didn’t even look like it was moving” and another claiming it was “probably being towed.”
But the man did not leave the theories hanging for long.
He responded directly in the comments: “The car’s moving, bro. If it were on a tow truck, you’d definitely see the front of the lorry.”
That reply was enough to put the matter to rest for most people.
A Reminder About Road Safety
As creative (and funny) as the setup is, it’s worth noting that swapping out your car seat for a camping chair definitely is not road-safe or legal.
Modifying vehicles without proper safety measures can be dangerous.
Always obey traffic laws and keep your ride safe for you and everyone else on the road!
