Woman Dies After Falling Out of Moving Car
A 39-year-old woman died on Sunday morning (May 4, 2025) after falling out of a moving car and being run over by an oil tanker along Jalan Lukut–Sepang in Port Dickson, Malaysia.
The incident happened at around 8.20 am at Kilometre 26 of the road.
According to Port Dickson District Police Chief Superintendent Maslan Udin, the woman had been seated in the back when the car’s rear door on the right side suddenly swung open as it went around a curve.

She was then flung out of the car and landed on the opposite side of the road, where she was struck by a Volvo oil tanker coming from the other direction.
She died at the scene from severe head injuries.
Her Husband and Baby Were in the Front Seat
Her 34-year-old husband was driving the car, and their five-month-old baby was seated in the front passenger seat, secured in a child safety seat. Both were unharmed.
The driver of the oil tanker was also not injured, Sinar Harian reported.
No Drugs Involved, Dashcam Footage Collected
According to Berita Harian, police confirmed that the car driver tested negative for drugs. Additionally, both vehicles involved had valid insurance and road tax at the time of the crash.
Police have collected dashcam footage from the oil tanker to assist the investigations.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987, which deals with causing death by reckless or dangerous driving.
For now, police say there are no criminal elements and investigations are still ongoing.
