US Strikes Iranian Targets
US Central Command (CENTCOM) said its forces carried out a wave of strikes against Iranian military targets on Tuesday, September 1.

Footage released by CENTCOM shows fighter jets taking off from an aircraft carrier at night and missiles being launched from a warship.
The location and date of the footage could not be independently verified.
New Strikes Hit IRGC
This came hours after US Central Command said American forces had begun a new round of strikes against IRGC targets in Iran.

CENTCOM said the strikes followed recent attempted IRGC attacks on commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and US service members in the region. Iran has vowed to respond to renewed US attacks.
Fighting Escalates Again
The fighting marks a fresh escalation after more than a month of relative calm between Washington and Tehran.
