Chinese Students Greet Trump With Flag-Waving Ceremony
A group of Chinese students treated Donald Trump to a flag-waving ceremony on his arrival in Beijing on Wednesday.

The landmark visit, including talks with China’s Xi Jinping, comes on May 13-15. It marks the first visit by a US leader in almost a decade.
Trump and Xi Resume High-Level Engagement
The two last met in Busan, South Korea in October, where they hit ‘pause’ on an escalating tariffs war.
Trade and Global Security Talks Expected
Trade talks this time will see the US keen to extend China’s suspension of export controls on rare earths – agreed last time around – as well as potential deals on planes, agriculture and energy.

Discussions are also predicted to cover the Iran war – which Trump repeatedly insisted would be resolved before his visit – and potentially Taiwan too.
