“Toy Story 5” has proven that there is always love for the franchise, as it is now holding the record for the biggest launch for 2026 yet.

The Disney-Pixar entry has accumulated USD 160 million in North America after three days of release, surpassing that of “The Super Mario Bros Galaxy,” which held the record back in April with USD 130.9 million.

Internationally, it made USD 152 million, bringing a global total of USD 312 million.
This also meant that the movie has beaten the record previously held by “Toy Story 4,” which made USD 120.9 million in its three-day opening.

Meanwhile, last week’s number one movie, “Disclosure Day” is in second place, earning USD 160.4 million globally, while A24’s “Backrooms” has now made USD 301 million.
