In a post circulated online, the man described feeling “lost,” saying he is stuck between admitting the truth or staying silent and risking the situation blowing up on its own.
“I am in a tough situation and I don’t know what to do,” he wrote. “My JB girlfriend is pregnant and she wants to expose me to my wife so that I will be responsible.”
Affair Began During JB Work Trip
According to his account, the relationship started after he travelled to Johor Bahru for work following the reopening of borders.
He said he met a Malaysian woman there and the two became close quickly. Despite being married, he admitted the connection turned into an affair.
“I was married at the time, but I felt like I could have a little bit of fun,” he said. “I never thought that I would get into such a situation.”
Pregnancy Claim Changes Everything
Weeks ago, the woman allegedly told him she was pregnant.
The man said he was caught off guard and responded by revealing he was already married. He claimed he told her he could not take responsibility for her or the child, and initially asked her to keep the relationship a secret.
“I was shocked and I didn’t know what to say,” he wrote. “I told her that I was married and that I couldn’t be responsible…
Threat to Expose Affair
The situation has since escalated.
He alleged that the woman is now threatening to inform his wife if he refuses to take responsibility for the pregnancy.
“Now, my girlfriend is threatening to expose me to my wife,” he said. “I don’t know what to do.”
He added that both options — confessing or staying silent — could lead to the collapse of his marriage.
“I can either tell my wife the truth… or keep quiet and hope she won’t expose me,” he wrote. “Either way, I will have to divorce my wife.”
While part of him feels he should come clean and let his wife decide what happens next, he fears the fallout.
“I know that whatever decision I make, it will have serious consequences,” he said. “I feel like I am in an impossible situation.”
