The Big Problem

We showed up to the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on June 17, 2026, expecting a real opportunity. Instead, we walked into a ghost town.

Hundreds of us paid serious money for these booths, thinking we would meet actual buyers. After three days of standing around in the quiet, most of us didn’t even get one single order.

You can imagine the feeling when you realize you just threw away your capital and your time for nothing.

Staged for Show

The organizers promised us high traffic and international buyers, but it was all a lie. People started realizing that the “buyers” walking around were just random people hired to wander through the aisles to make the place look busy.

Once the word got out that the crowd was faked, everyone just lost it. We stopped trying to do business and started demanding our money back right then and there.

It wasn’t just a bad event; it felt like a total setup.

Heavy Security Response

By the end of the day, things got ugly because the organizers refused to talk about refunds. None of us wanted to leave without an answer, so we stayed put.

Before long, the place was swarming with police and security guards. They stayed until late at night, trying to shut us down while tensions were at a breaking point.

Seeing all that security just proved how bad they messed up and how much they wanted to bury the problem.

A Warning to Businesses

Everyone is saying this was a disaster because of bad planning and because there was a better event in Guangzhou at the same time.

The organizers knew nobody was coming, but they didn’t care. They just wanted our cash and were willing to lie to get it. This is a massive wake-up call for every business owner out there.

Be careful which events you sign up for because, at the end of the day, these organizers don’t care if you fail as long as they get paid.
