The Ipoh police chief, Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Najib Hamzah, spoke about the matter recently. He stated that the police take these allegations very seriously.

He promised that the department would look into the situation carefully to find out exactly what happened. The police want to keep their reputation honest and fair for everyone.

Identifying the Police Vehicle

In the viral video, which is about 46 seconds long, a police car is visible. The police have already checked the records for this vehicle. They found that the car has a specific call sign, “PK 56.” This car belongs to the police force in the Perak region and is managed by the Ipoh district headquarters.

Even though they have identified the car, the police are still trying to find the exact location where the video was filmed. They also need to confirm the identities of the officers who were using the car at that time. Identifying the people in the video is a very important step in their investigation.

A Fair and Transparent Search

Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Najib Hamzah emphasized that the investigation will be open and honest. He said the police would not protect anyone who broke the law. If the officers are found guilty of any wrongdoing, they will face strict punishment according to the rules of the police force.
