Viral Video
The video went viral on social media immediately after it was released. It shows a woman sitting on the driver’s lap controlling the steering wheel on a moving bus. Passengers were horrified by the scene, especially those concerned about the safety of their families and children.

Many have questioned how such an incident could have gone unnoticed. As a result, the issue quickly became the focus of discussion.
Company Action
Sri Maju Group took strict action immediately after the incident. They dismissed the driver from his job and filed a complaint with the police. The company said in a statement that this incident was a complete violation of its policies and professional conduct.

They have apologized unconditionally to the passengers. They have also announced that new measures will be taken to prevent such incidents in the future. Passenger safety has been given top priority.
Investigation and Law
The Road Transport Department has started an investigation into the incident. They said that necessary legal action will be taken after the investigation. At the same time, the matter has also been reported to the Land Public Transport Agency.

Authorities say that commercial vehicle drivers must always obey the law. Such negligence can cause major accidents. Therefore, strict surveillance is being increased.

But, in a new development of this incident, the police said the accused male driver and a female acquaintance of his will appear at the Jasin district police headquarters today for questioning. The 36-year-old driver is currently staying in Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur, while the female will join them from Kedah. According to the police, the incident posed a major risk to passengers and other road users.
