French Pole Vaulter’s “Asset” Mishap Leads to $250K Adult Webcam Offer

Pole vaulter Anthony Ammirati’s Olympic dreams took an unexpected turn when an “asset” malfunction during his qualifying round gained him viral fame and a surprising offer.

The French athlete’s mishap, where his bulge interfered with his performance, caught the attention of the adult entertainment industry. CamSoda, a popular adult content site, has offered Ammirati $250,000 (S$331,884.47) for a 60-minute webcam show.

The Viral Incident

Ammirati’s bid for Olympic success ended abruptly when his bulge caused a problem, resulting in a 12th-place finish and preventing him from moving to the finals. Additionally, the incident quickly became a topic of widespread online discussion.

According to TMZ Sports, CamSoda’s Vice President, Daryn Parker, expressed his admiration for Ammirati’s situation by saying he would award him for what everyone else noticed—his talent below the belt. Parker went on to explain that, as someone who appreciates “crotch-centric activities,” he would be thrilled to offer Ammirati up to $250,000 for a 60-minute webcam show, where Ammirati would showcase his assets, minus the crossbar of course.

Anthony Ammirati’s Response

Ammirati expressed his surprise at the overwhelming attention the incident garnered. He shared that, while his primary focus remains on competing at the highest level, the offer is something he will need to consider carefully, Marca reports.

Despite the offer, Ammirati couldn’t hide his disappointment about his Olympic performance. He candidly shared with the French Athletics Federation, “I’m a bit gutted because I didn’t miss anything on the third attempt at 5.70m. What I did miss was a bit of jumping in training to fine-tune the settings.” He also noted that while he was in good physical shape, he had missed out on some crucial practice.

While Ammirati’s Olympic journey faced an unexpected setback, the offer from CamSoda presents a unique opportunity for him. Whether he will accept the proposal or explore other paths is yet to be seen, but the attention from his viral moment has opened new doors for the athlete.
