View Win, Toilet No Win: China’s Toilet Leaves Visitors Confused And Laughing Online
Facebook

A Malaysian woman posted a video of the unusual design of a public toilet in China, drawing attention to a facility that has been making the rounds online. The toilet is set on a mountain with a stunning view, but many onlookers were amazed at the challenge of operating this toilet.

Screengrab of the video

The woman, who recorded the toilet, visited an area of scenery with steep cliffs and valleys. At first glance, the location looked impressive. Large open windows allowed visitors to enjoy a wide view of the mountains while using the restroom.

Beautiful Scenery, Unusual Design

In the video, the woman walked through the restroom and showed several toilet cubicles. Instead of standard squat toilets, each cubicle appeared to contain only a small bucket-like toilet placed in a corner.

The cubicles were also very narrow. Because of the limited space, the woman questioned how a person could comfortably squat down. She joked that the mountain view was beautiful, but the toilet design itself was not practical. The short clip quickly drew attention because of the strong contrast between the stunning scenery and the unusual restroom arrangement.

Toilet With a View

Many tourist attractions around the world are known for offering visitors unique experiences. Some locations feature restaurants, hotels, or observation areas designed to highlight natural landscapes. It’s rarer, though, to see a public toilet that’s an attraction because of its view.

The restroom in the video faces an interesting mountain landscape; the user can observe the mountain cliffs and valleys from the restroom. It’s open in its design, so it will be bright and airy.

Visitors Left Surprised

The woman was impressed with the scenery but was confused by the layout of the toilet. The film was about the confined space and cubicles of the stalls. The toilet was an interesting subject since the view of the mountains was a highlight and the toilet facilities were rather small.

The sight might have been a memorable one for many, but the toilet itself is what has made the spot so memorable. People are still talking about the clip because it’s one of the most bizarre toilet scenes in China’s tourist hotspot!
