During a recent event, British-American actor and musician Michael Malarkey, best known for his role as “Enzo” in The Vampire Diaries, took a public stand against Starbucks.
A video of the incident went viral on social media X, sparking conversationa about holding companies accountable and making better consumer choices.

During the interview, Malarkey was listening to the interviewer’s question when he reached for a cup of coffee placed beside him on stage.
As he lifted the cup to take a sip, he paused, inspecting it closely. Upon realizing it was from Starbucks, he quickly set it down on the floor, distancing it from him.
He later clarified, “I’m sorry, I didn’t realize that was Starbucks coffee. I do not drink Starbucks coffee. I boycott Starbucks, and you all should too.”
After sitting back down, he added, “Don’t serve me Starbucks again, please.”
According to The Siasat Daily, the 41-year-old actor openly refused to drink Starbucks coffee on stage, despite the brand sponsoring the event.
While Malarkey did not elaborate on stage, his disapproval of the company aligns with his outspoken support for the Palestinian cause.

Malarkey has consistently voiced his pro-Palestinian stance. On Instagram, he actively participates in movements such as #artists4ceasefire, which urges global leaders to implement a ceasefire in conflict zones.
