South Korea’s Largest Pet Fair Opens

MEGAZOO, South Korea’s largest pet industry fair, opened at the KINTEX Exhibition Centre in Ilsan, bringing together pet owners, brands and industry professionals.

Footage filmed on Friday shows visitors walking through the exhibition halls with their pets, many dressed in outfits or riding in strollers, as they browsed pet food, accessories and grooming products.

“I realised how many people are raising dogs, and there are more diverse products than I expected. It seems like everyone is having a great time here,” said one of the visitors.

Another visitor said MEGAZOO stands out because visitors can bring their pets and try products on site.

“My dog loves food, and it’s nice to buy what I need right away without waiting for delivery,” she said.

Latest Trends in Pet Care

The fair features the latest trends in pet care, food, lifestyle and technology, including AI health monitors, smart toys and advanced grooming devices.

It also includes pet-friendly lounges, photo zones and expert seminars on animal behaviour and nutrition.

The fair serves as both a consumer marketplace and a business platform, reflecting the rapid growth of South Korea’s pet industry and the rising popularity of companion animal culture.

MEGAZOO runs from May 29 to 31.
