Dispute Between Friends Turns Fatal
A 33-year-old man was fatally stabbed by his housemate following an argument over a messy room in a home located in Kampung Kubu Gajah, Sungai Pelong, Malaysia, on Wednesday night, June 25.
According to Sinar Harian, the fatal incident stemmed from a domestic disagreement between two men who had been living together for about six months after moving from Kelantan.
Police: Argument Over Cleanliness Escalated to Violence
Sungai Buloh District Police Chief, Superintendent Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor, said preliminary investigations revealed that the two housemates got into an argument over internal household matters, specifically about the messiness of a room.

During the argument, the 40-year-old suspect allegedly stabbed the victim in the chest with a knife, resulting in his death.
Emergency Call Made Late at Night
Authorities were alerted to the incident through an emergency call made at 11.26 pm on Wednesday.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim unconscious with a stab wound to his left chest. The suspect was found in the living room and was immediately detained by the police.
A knife, believed to be the weapon used in the attack, was discovered and seized at the scene.

Suspect Tests Positive for Drugs
Following his arrest, a urine screening showed that the suspect tested positive for drugs.
Officials confirmed the suspect had tested positive for drug use, though the specific substance was not revealed.
Suspect Remanded for Six Days
Police have obtained a six-day remand order for the 40-year-old man, effective until July 1, to aid the murder investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
