Iranian Delegation Arrives In Switzerland
Iran’s ‘Minab 168’ delegation arrived in Switzerland on Saturday evening for technical talks with the United States on implementing the recently signed memorandum of understanding to end the conflict in the Middle East.

Footage shows the Iranian team, led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, disembarking their aircraft, which is marked ‘Minab 168’ in tribute to the children and staff killed in a missile attack on the Shajareh Tayyebeh girls’ school.
Mediators Prepare For Key Talks
The talks are due to take place at the Burgenstock resort, with Qatari, Pakistani and Swiss mediators trying to turn a temporary memorandum of understanding into a longer-term settlement.
According to media reports, US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are already in Switzerland. Vice President JD Vance is reportedly also heading to Burgenstock and expected to join the talks.

Negotiations were initially expected to take place on Saturday, but were postponed after renewed fighting between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Leaders Signed Memorandum Earlier
President Donald Trump signed the US-Iran memorandum of understanding at the Palace of Versailles on Wednesday. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian signed the agreement in Iran, before Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif added Pakistan’s signature in Islamabad.
Agreement Outlines Next Steps
The 14-clause memorandum calls for an immediate halt to military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon. Israel has said it is not part of the agreement and has continued attacks on southern Lebanon.

Under the agreement, Iran commits to reopening trade routes through the Strait of Hormuz free of charge for 60 days. In return, Washington commits to begin lifting the blockade on Iranian ports immediately and complete the process within 30 days.
