Firefighters Freed Indonesian Woman After Her Nose Piercing Gets Stuck in Office Chair

In a scenario straight out of an odd news column, a woman in Bandung City, Indonesia, found herself unexpectedly tethered to her office chair—thanks to her nose piercing.

The septum ring had become lodged in the mesh backing of the chair, creating an embarrassing and perplexing situation that neither she nor her colleagues could resolve.

Colleagues’ Rescue Attempts Fail

Reportedly, coworkers initially attempted to free the woman by pulling and wiggling the chair, but their efforts proved fruitless.

Running out of options, they had to wheel both the woman and her chair to the fire station, where they had access to more tools.

Firefighters Step In with Humor

When they arrived at the fire station, the firefighters responded to this scene comically, laughing at the situation. It is most probably because they had encountered similar situations before.

To ease the tension, the team joked about cutting off her nose or using heavy-duty tools like a chainsaw to address the predicament.

A Simple Solution and a Celebratory Dance

Despite the dramatic buildup, the solution was simple: a pair of pliers did the trick in just five minutes. The woman was freed without injury, leaving her both relieved and amused by the ordeal.

The firefighters celebrated their success with a lighthearted dance, showcasing not only their problem-solving skills but also their ability to bring humor to unusual situations.

A Memorable Day for All

According to Fox News, firefighter Mochamad Alam Priabadi stated that while this wasn’t the strangest call they’ve received, it was undoubtedly one of the most amusing.

The woman, now liberated from her chair nemesis, even posed for a picture with her rescuers—a moment she will likely recount as one of her most unusual office stories.
