At least two killed, 13 buildings collapsed in devastating 5.2-magnitude earthquake

Buildings Collapse In Liuzhou City

13 buildings collapsed in the 5.2-magnitude earthquake that rocked the city of Liuzhou in the Guangxi region early Monday.

Footage shows dozens of firefighters deployed to the affected site to provide an emergency response. Heavy machinery was also deployed to clear the rubble remaining after the collapse and damage.

Emergency Operations Intensify After Quake

At least two people lost their lives, four sustained injuries, while three remain missing as a result of the devastating earthquake. 7,000 residents were also evacuated.

51 fire and rescue vehicles and 315 personnel in total were reportedly sent to the earthquake-hit site. Search and rescue operations are currently underway.
