Good luck getting home anytime soon
Most drivers expect to share the road with cars, motorcycles, or bicycles. Two women in Thailand recently discovered that some rural roads operate under a completely different system.

A viral video shows the pair driving through an area surrounded by an unbelievable number of ducks. Everywhere the camera turns, there are birds.
On the road, beside the pavement, and stretching across fields, they totally took over the entire landscape.
Thousands of birds block the highway
As the women continue filming, they laugh at the bizarre sight before them. The massive number of ducks makes the scene look less like a road and more like an annual duck convention.

It almost feels as though every single bird in the region received the same calendar invitation and decided to show up at the exact same hour.
Viewers online love the chaotic visual
The internet quickly joined the fun. One viewer jokingly asked how many days it would take for the flock to finish crossing.

The creator responded with a great punchline, saying that once the last bird arrives, everyone should prepare for them to cross right back to the other side. Nobody in the video appears shocked or concerned, making the situation even funnier.
The same traffic jam happens again later
The creator later revealed this duck takeover was not a one-time event.

Responding to a follower asking if they made it home, the creator wrote, “555 Back safely! This evening, same route again, and I ran into it again!” In Thailand, typing 555 means laughing out loud because the number five sounds like the word ha. Taking the same route later that evening yielded the exact same result.
The birds completely rule the road
The clip attracted massive attention online because of the endless sea of feathers. Many viewers joked that the women accidentally entered a duck-controlled district where humans are merely guests.
While large flocks are common in farming communities, the sheer scale and persistence of this gathering left everyone amused. For a brief moment, the birds completely ruled the road.
