It was reported that there are plans for a collaboration between Tamil star Dhanush with acclaimed Hindi director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

As reported on Times of India, the “Heeramandi” director will be backing the actor’s large-scale mythological drama set in a jungle under his Bhansali Productions banner.
The project reportedly will be helmed by PS Mithran, known for movies like “Sardar” and “Hero”. It will mark the director’s Hindi debut and his first collaboration with Dhanush.

Earlier, it was reported that Ram Charan had been considered to play the lead, but has now been replaced with Dhanush, who has already starred in several Hindi movie including “Tere Ishk Mein”.

Meanwhile, Bhansali last produced “Do Deewane Seher Mein” through his company. He is currently working on his latest film, “Love & War” starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
