B-2 Bomber Leads Anniversary Flyover
A B-2 Spirit stealth bomber soared over Washington, DC on Wednesday as the United States opened its 250th independence anniversary celebrations with a military flyover above the National Mall.
Footage shows the bomber sweeping across the Washington skyline, flanked by four F-35 fighter jets.
Great American State Fair Begins
The Great American State Fair opens to the public on June 25 and runs until July 10 on the National Mall. City organisers say the 16-day exposition will include exhibits representing all 56 US states and territories, with pavilions, performances, food, fair attractions and cultural programming.
The celebrations are building towards July 4, when the United States marks 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
