A Devoted Mother’s Daily Routine
Kavitha, a dedicated employee at the waste management company SWM Environment in Seremban, Malaysia, has worked as a street sweeper for over 12 years. Even with a well-paid RM1,800 (SGD 550) monthly salary, she has always put her children’s future first.

Recently, Kavitha’s 50th birthday was celebrated, and she was very proud of it. As a mother, she has fought to provide her family with the best opportunities in life, even with her own limited resources.
Remarkable Success Stories
This persevering mother has worked so hard, and her effort has paid off so well. Her eldest child is a staff nurse in Singapore, and her second child is a stewardess for Singapore Airlines. Her third kid is a high school teacher in a government school, and her youngest daughter is currently studying to be a pilot. Kavitha is the mother of four children, including a son who works with her in the waste management company.

The different career paths of her kids are proof of a mother’s support being a great key to success. Kavitha’s accomplishments are a testament to dedication, as many in the local community have remarked.
A Birthday Surprise to Remember
Kavitha’s daughters surprised her at her workplace, wearing their diverse career attire, to celebrate her 50th birthday. The warm exchange of the two was in a street where Kavitha was sweeping.

Her daughters in uniform walked toward her, and the emotional moment was captured on film. Kavitha could not help but get emotional as she watched her children join hands, symbolising the successful careers she had helped build for them. The children were very thankful to their mother and said that everything they have achieved in their lives has been because of her sacrifice.
