The Sudden Crash at the Intersection
A local traffic enforcer ended up in the hospital following a shocking incident on July 1. It all happened around 8:00 AM right near the provincial capitol.
A white SUV suddenly rammed straight into him. The entire ordeal was captured on clear CCTV footage. The officer was just standing in the street when the vehicle lunged forward.

The heavy impact threw him violently onto the hard pavement while morning traffic kept passing right by.
Driver Attempts a Hit and Run
The injured enforcer lay on the road for several seconds, clearly stunned by the blow. Shockingly, the driver did not even stop to help.
Instead, the motorist stepped on the gas pedal and tried to speed away from the scene. It was a blatant hit-and-run attempt.

The SUV tried weaving through the thick morning traffic while the bruised officer was still on the ground struggling to stand up.
Brave Bystanders Step In
The driver did not get very far because regular citizens moved incredibly fast to intervene.
Seeing the vehicle escape, a local parking assistant and another bystander literally dashed into the busy intersection to block the car.

They stood directly in front of the moving SUV, confronted the motorist, and forced the vehicle to a halt. Thanks to their quick thinking, a total escape was prevented.
Helping the Injured Officer
While those heroes trapped the car, another concerned citizen rushed out to protect the fallen enforcer.
This bystander used their own body to shield the officer from oncoming traffic while checking his injuries. They stayed right there on the pavement until emergency medical responders arrived on the scene.

This quick intervention kept the officer safe from being hit again. Traffic investigators have launched a full investigation.
