The Attempted Break In
A young man died after a botched afternoon break-in went totally wrong in Yangon, Myanmar.
It all happened right around 1:00 PM on June 25 over in Ward 13, along Waruna 4 Street, a normally quiet neighborhood spot. The suspect picked out a residential apartment room sitting up on the fourth floor of a six-story building.

He honestly thought the whole place was completely empty right then, so he tried forcing his way inside through the door. He was wrong.
The Sudden Confrontation
Everything completely shattered the exact moment the intruder realized the homeowner was standing inside, staring straight at him.
Totally panicked by this sudden face-to-face showdown, the owner started screaming at the top of their lungs to alert the neighbors.

Other people living in the building heard the noise. They quickly ran out into the hallways to help catch him. The thief got scared of the crowd blocking his way, so he freaked out and jumped straight out the back window.
A Fatal Fall
Trying to escape the shouting neighbors, the man threw himself straight out of that fourth-floor window.
It was a massive drop that ended in a brutal, crushing impact when he smashed directly onto a concrete sewage tank cover down in the alleyway. Falling from that height caused instant, horrific trauma to his head and his entire body.

Local street elders ran outside to check out the noise and scrambled to call an emergency medical team.
Pronounced Dead Later
Responders rushed the unconscious youth over to San Pya Hospital for urgent care.
Because his injuries were so incredibly critical, doctors had to transfer him straight to North Okkalapa Hospital, where he eventually died from the trauma.

Local ward officials later confirmed the dead young man did not actually live anywhere near this neighborhood. Authorities are still combing through local records to figure out his true identity and find his family.
