US Conducts Maritime Strike in Pacific
US military forces under the direction of the Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) conducted a ‘lethal kinetic’ strike on a vessel operated by an alleged narco-terrorist organisation in the Pacific Ocean.

Footage released on Friday shows a vessel engulfed in flames after a strike. Later, the ship’s debris was seen scattered around the impact site, which reportedly killed three members of the organisation during the incident.
The exact date and location of the footage could not be independently verified.
Three Alleged Narco-Terrorists Killed
“Three male narco-terrorists were killed during this action. No US military forces were harmed. SOUTHCOM is unwavering in its commitment to applying total systemic friction on the cartels,” the post read on X.

SOUTHCOM claimed the boat was operated by ‘Designated Terrorist Organisations’ and was confirmed by intelligence that it was travelling along known narco-trafficking routes.
Operation Ordered by SOUTHCOM Commander
The post also said the strike was ordered by its commander, Francis L. Donovan, and carried out by Joint Task Force Southern Spear.

The death toll from Operation Southern Spear, a counter-drug operation that began in September 2025 in the Caribbean Sea and eastern Pacific Ocean, has reportedly risen to at least 199.
