Andrea del Val has posted a video of injuries to her face and blood after what she says was a “physical altercation” with celebrity stylist Giovanni Laguna at the Cannes Film Festival in France.
The video, which went viral on social media, depicted Del Val inside a hotel room with visible injuries and a clear implication of Laguna attacking her.
Other objects, such as furniture and possessions, could also be seen scattered throughout the room in the clip.
Police reportedly called after disturbance
The guests of the hotel informed the authorities after hearing screams and indications of a physical fight in the room, reports said in multiple Latin American media.
Later, police were reported to have escorted away and taken into custody Laguna, who was arrested in Cannes.
French officials have yet to provide full details of the incident, and it is not yet clear what charges may follow.
Del Val was reportedly treated medically and is not in danger after the incident.
Stylist linked to beauty pageant industry
Laguna has been recognized in the Latin American beauty and fashion world and has collaborated with several pageant contestants and celebrities.
He has allegedly been working as creative director for Miss Universe Colombia since 2023.
His professional relationship with Fatima Bosch was also mentioned, but there is no evidence that she was involved in the incident.
Del Val’s and Laguna’s feud has not been officially established, and France is still investigating the incident.
