Luxury Car, Budget Parking Skills? Parking Job Gets Roasted Online in Singapore
Facebook

A photo of a badly parked luxury car has gone viral online after netizens spotted the vehicle sitting across parking lot lines, partially taking up multiple spaces in a front-row car park.

The original caption jokingly called it a “world-class car but third-world parking skill,” quickly triggering strong reactions in the comments.

While some users turned the post into memes and digs at luxury car drivers, others called out the “third world” remark, saying bad parking is just bad parking, not a reflection of nationality or wealth.

Comments spiral into a familiar parking debate

The comment section quickly turned into a mix of sarcasm, brand-name jokes, and everyday frustration over inconsiderate parking.

Some users mocked drivers of brands like BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Tesla, and BYD, while others joked about “Kopi license” driving skills or forcing the owner to climb in from the passenger side as punishment.

Others pointed out that inconsiderate parking behaviour exists everywhere, regardless of background.

A few commenters also shifted the discussion toward broader frustrations about driving culture in Singapore and Malaysia, with some saying expensive cars often attract extra scrutiny online when parked badly.

Wider social debate online

Although the image itself showed nothing more than an awkward parking job, the post quickly turned into another example of how minor everyday incidents can easily spiral into larger online debates about entitlement, class, and public behaviour.
