Arteta Shares Emotional Title-Winning Moment
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta revealed the emotional family moment he found out the Gunners were crowned Premier League champions, as his side prepares for the UEFA Champions League final.

Speaking at a press conference in London on Thursday, Arteta said he did not watch the decisive 1-1 draw between Manchester City and Bournemouth. Instead, he learned the result at home, when his eldest son ran into the garden in tears.
Arsenal Manager Recalls Family Celebration
“I was just hearing some noises in the background, in the living room, and suddenly the magic happened. My oldest son opened the garden door, he started to run towards me, he started to cry, he gave me a hug, and he said, We are champions, daddy,” Arteta recalled.

“Then my other two boys and my wife came over, and it was beautiful,” he added.
Arsenal End Twenty-Two-Year League Wait
The result confirmed Arsenal as Premier League champions on Tuesday, ending the club’s 22-year wait for a league title.

“It’s a big lesson in life as well, because the margins are so small and it can go either way. When you just accomplish it, you realise just how immense it is, how big it is for so many people,” he said.
Gunners Prepare For Champions League Final
The Gunners now turn their focus to the Champions League final, with Arteta promising fans his side will be ready for the occasion.
“We are going to prepare for that game with the intention to win and write a new story in the club history. I’m really confident that we’re going to get there in the best possible place,” he added.

Arsenal will face defending champions Paris Saint-Germain at the Puskas Arena in Budapest on May 30, as they chase their first Champions League trophy after reaching the final for the first time in 20 years.
