Shenzhen Hosts Major Unmanned Systems Expo
The 2026 International Low Altitude Economy and Unmanned Systems (UASE) Expo kicked off under the theme ‘Low-Altitude Economy, Soaring into the Future’ in Chinese global technology powerhouse and ‘Drone Capital of the World’, Shenzhen, on Thursday.
Advanced Drone Technology Displayed
Footage filmed at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center shows numerous visitors walking amid cutting-edge technological advances ranging from heavy-lift transport drones with 400 kg payloads to sophisticated VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) systems.

“This is my first time attending the drone expo. What attracts me most are the power systems and the industry benchmarks. The entire sector can be divided into consumer-grade, industrial-grade, and the emerging low-altitude logistics and agricultural sectors,” one of the visitors, Mr. Mai stated.
Global Participants Gather At Expansive Event
Spanning 110,000 square meters of exhibition area, the event is scheduled to host over 1,000 exhibitors with participants arriving from more than 135 countries and regions.

A key theme of the expo was the rapid expansion of the low-altitude economy with a focus on logistics, agricultural automation, and emergency response.
Industry Focuses On Future Logistics Growth
“The future growth is in low-altitude logistics. Major domestic operators like JD, SF Express, and Meituan are all developing their own integrated systems,” Mr. Mai commented.

Serving as a vital platform for global industry, the 2026 UASE Expo is scheduled to run from May 21 to 23.
